These heavier duty rubber ferrules are used for many applications, such as walking sticks, rubber stoppers, rubber ends, even crutches or walking frames. They can be purchased for commercial use as well. ‘D’ Type rubber ferrules have a raised ring base and are available in Black (standard). Other colours can be supplied upon request. Metal inserts are optional. These are used for most applications as they are generally classed as heavy duty.
