DVGW Certified

DVGW stands for Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches (German Association for Gas and Water). Industrial rubber have a DVGW certified compound to DIN EN 682 GBL (70IRHD).

DIN 682 is a technical standard developed by the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) that defines the requirements for elastomeric materials used in seals for pipes and fittings carrying gas and hydrocarbon fluids. The standard covers operating temperatures ranging from -5 °C to 50 °C, and in special cases, from -15 °C to 50 °C. It is based on ISO 6447 and ISO 6448 and consolidates the requirements for seals used in gas and hydrocarbon fluid applications. DIN EN 682 designates elastomeric seals by type, application, and operating temperature.
